Pipelines cleaned at freezing point.

PolarFlow uses a dense ice slurry to scour pipework from the inside — clearing biofilm, sediment and product residue in a single pass. Faster changeovers, lower water use, zero excavation.

Heatnet

A solid pig that can never get stuck.

Conventional pigs are rigid foam or polymer projectiles — powerful, but risky. Ice pigs behave like a solid in motion and a liquid when stopped, so they scour pipework with high shear force, then simply melt if pressure is lost.

Cleaner pipes. Less downtime. Lower cost.

Faster changeovers

Cut cleaning windows from days to hours — sometimes from months to weeks.

Lower water use

Up to 20× less water than conventional flushing, with cleaner discharge.

Zero stuck-pig risk

If the system stops, the pig melts. Your asset stays safe.

No chemicals

Just ice and water — safe for potable systems and the environment.

One technology. Every pipeline.

Water Utilities

Restore hydraulic capacity and water quality across distribution networks — without digging up the street.

Drinking Water

Remove sediment and biofilm from potable mains without taking the network offline for long.

Industrial Process

Fast changeovers in food, beverage and pharma lines — protect product quality, recover yield.

District Heating & Cooling

Clear corrosion deposits and restore thermal efficiency across heat networks.

Wastewater & Sewer

Tackle fats, oils, grease and grit in rising mains and gravity sewers safely.

From survey to certified clean in under a day.

No Site survey

We assess your network, contaminants and access points to design the right slurry mix and flow rate.

Produce slurry on-site

Our mobile units generate dense ice slurry exactly where you need it — no plant required.

Inject & flush

The pig is pushed through the pipeline using your existing pressure. One entry, one exit.

Recover & verify

We capture the discharge, sample for contaminants and hand you a full cleaning report.

Ice pigging reduced our cleaning cycle from six months to two weeks — and let us defer a capital upgrade entirely.

Proven in the field, not just the lab.

Ice pigging has been deployed across municipal water networks, breweries, dairies, oil refineries and district energy schemes — at scales from a single farm to entire city grids.

What size pipes can be cleaned with ice pigging?
We routinely clean pipelines from 50 mm (2 inch) up to 1,500 mm (60 inch). For larger diameters we typically run multiple slurry batches.
Yes — ice pigging uses existing access points like hydrants, valves or flanges. There’s no need to retrofit launchers or receivers.
The discharge is mostly melted ice plus the contaminants we’ve collected. We capture and dispose of it according to local regulations, with no chemical additives to neutralise.
A single section can be cleaned in a few hours. Most full network jobs are completed in 1–3 days, including setup, slurry production, pigging and verification.
Biofilm, sediment, manganese and iron deposits, scale, struvite, fats, oils, grease and product residue in process lines. We assess feasibility per site.
Yes — the ice is made from the same potable water already in your system. There are no chemical residues, making it ideal for drinking water mains and food/beverage pipework.
